This useful session provided me insight into gamification. Namely, what really the gamification is, key elements: set rooms, clear objectives of the game, elements of competition, the element of chance. It was especially helpful to find out about different tools, apps, and websites in Wardwall with the help of what different activities can be applied in the classroom. Especially I liked Random Wheel when students are asked to spin the wheel and talk about given topics. It is very motivating to gamify the elements in class, it certainly encourages the students, it makes them craving more and more for such tasks. We can use games in lead in activities, when we introduce a new language point, as a core activity, as homework. In the end, it is very important to be fair, consistent to set up rules, to assess students' skills, knowledge that correspond to particular objectives.
